Imagine living in a small town rural community and commuting ten minutes to your job in a technology-based company.  Imagine spending your weekends hiking on a wildlife refuge and watching Sandhill Cranes fly in to roost for the evening.  Imagine driving a half hour to reach a major international airport or a thriving metropolitan city which offers international dining, theater, parks and art.  Imagine living in the Discovery Corridor.  Imagine living in Ridgefield Washington.

Ridgefield Washington is located in southwestern Washington State on the banks of the Columbia River.   Ridgefield is located 20 miles north of Portland Oregon and the Portland International Airport and about two hours south of Seattle.  Portland Oregon, Vancouver, Seattle and Tacoma Washington are major international shipping ports.  Interstate 5 is a major transportation artery on the west coast of the United States and links Ridgefield with these ports and the rest of the world.

Ridgefield is a tight knit community which retains links to its past.  The city hosts festivals throughout the year, including the 4th of July, BirdFest (2nd weekend in October), Hometown Celebration (1st weekend in December) and Spring Heritage Days in March.  The Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge is located on the western border of town and offers 5,500 acres of pristine wilderness where migrating waterfowl rest on the Pacific flyway.
